By default, our credit card and eCheck processor combines charge-backs and deposits. This results in more work for the school office when trying to reconcile electronic deposits. For example, if a previous month’s payment is disputed by a parent the amount will be subtracted from the grand deposit that settled. When this happens, PushCoin report shows the pre-dispute deposit amount whereas your bank statement shows the after-dispute deposit amount. Such discrepancies require additional work on the part of the school office to reconcile.

The good news is that we can enroll your account in the “Do not net on Funding” mode, so PushCoin deposits will match the bank deposits. Any charge-back debits will be in a separate bank transaction.
