Many customers who use Hotmail.com addresses (Outlook, Live) aren’t receiving PushCoin emails (receipts, password resets, support replies). The messages are being filtered on Microsoft’s side and often never reach the Inbox or Junk folder. We can’t override Hotmail.com’s filters, but a few steps sometimes help.
What’s happening
Microsoft’s Outlook.com uses aggressive filtering and reputation systems. Messages from a sender or domain can be blocked based on their systems’ evaluation, and in some cases the mail doesn’t appear in Junk/Spam at all. Microsoft’s own guidance points to sender/IP reputation and user-level filtering as common causes.
What you can try
Add us to Safe senders (best)
Go to Settings → Mail → Junk email → Safe senders and domains, then add:
- support@pushcoin.com
- ask@pushcoin.com
You can also add the whole domain pushcoin.com and don’t forget to Save your changes.
Add us to Contacts
Adding a contact can improve deliverability and helps Outlook route messages correctly. In Outlook.com, open People → New contact and add our addresses. (From an existing message, you can also choose Add to contacts.)
Check the “Other” tab (Focused Inbox)
Outlook may place receipts and automated emails under Other instead of Focused. If you find our messages there, move them to Focused and mark as “Not junk.”
Confirm we’re not blocked
In Settings → Mail → Junk email → Blocked senders and domains, make sure pushcoin.com or our addresses aren’t listed. Remove them if they are.
If these steps work, you should start seeing our emails within a few minutes of the next one we send.
If that doesn’t work
Unfortunately, when Outlook.com decides to block a sender, we don’t always get a bounce message and you won’t see anything in Junk/Spam. Because those filters are controlled by Microsoft, our options are limited.
If the steps above don’t resolve it, please switch to an alternate email provider for school communications and password resets. Free options parents commonly use include:
- Gmail (Google) — reliable filtering; you can also create a filter to keep messages from pushcoin.com out of Spam (Gmail Settings → Filters and blocked addresses → Create a new filter → From: pushcoin.com → choose Never send it to Spam). Google Help
- Proton Mail — privacy-focused free plan available.
- iCloud Mail (for Apple users).
We’re sorry for the hassle. We know this is frustrating—especially when you need receipts or reset links quickly. If you try the steps above and still have trouble, let us know which address you’re using and which steps you tried, and we’ll help you get back on track.
