In the past, when you listed a product on the webstore it was visible to everyone. With this enhancement, you can now choose if the product is visible to everyone (Public listing) or only to those with whom you share the product’s private location (Private listing). This is useful in at least two scenarios. First, […]

[Enhancement] Better support for limited availability products
The latest release adds strict enforcement of quantity for your webstore products. If you choose to put a limit on sales, you should see it obeyed with high accuracy.
[Deprecated] Auto-response ticket
Our team at PushCoin works hard to reduce the amount of email traffic school administrators deal with, either from parents or tech support. To further this goal, we have directed our system to stop sending the “ticket created” canned response. Rest assured we receive all your requests and strive to respond as quickly as possible. […]
[Fixed] Valid email pattern rejected as invalid
A new email filter was installed to improve quality of received data. However, a bug in the new filter rejected valid email patterns listed below causing false errors in student data imports. user@c.domain.com A single character after “@” followed by a dot. user@sub-name.com A hyphen in the domain name.
[Enhancement] Exporting SIS pending fees
If you are in charge of reviewing and approval of SIS pending fees you may find it useful to export the list of pending actions to Excel. In Excel you can sort, group or color-code the rows, making the reviewing task a little easier. Another reason might be to have a record of what was […]
[Enhancement] Sales to users report includes contact information
On occasion, school administration may want to contact parents who made (online) purchases via mail-merge, for example in the event of trip cancellations or enrollment eligibility. This is now possible directly from the Sales to users report. The exported CSV (Excel) file includes four new columns: primary contact name primary contact email secondary contact name […]
[Fixed] Email slowness resolved
Over the past week our system pushed close to half a million emails. This created a backlog with our email providers such as Yahoo and Hotmail. To flush out, some emails took days to deliver. We apologize for the inconvenience as delayed emails can be confusing to parents.
[Enhancement] Fee adjustments won’t trigger refund emails.
To reduce school and parent confusion, our system will no longer send email notifications when a school fee is adjusted. Emails will continue to go out for refunds of webstore or cafeteria purchases.
[Enhancement] Family view in user profile
As you already know, in PushCoin parents and guardians connect with their students using the registration codes. When this happens, a family relationship is established between parents (sponsors) and their dependents. To make it easier for school administrators to traverse a family, we have introduced a Family-tab in the User profile. This tab, which replaces […]
